Nothing like CNN to catch my attention with the story titled Inside an Underwear Epiphany a few days ago. The legend of Sara Blakely has become popular since the young businesswoman hit billionaire status with her undergarment empire Spanx. What really caught me is when the reporter commented that since launching, the company had sold millions without spending a dime on advertising, followed by the confirmation from the CEO; “a girlfriend tells you about a product…you tend to become much more loyal and interested in it…”.
